The Alpha Foundation, Inc. (AFI) is a registered publicly supported 501(c)3 non-profit organization in the United States of America, and the Alpha Foundation of Sierra Leone (AFSL) is a registered Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) in the Republic of Sierra Leone. We are roughly 4 years young and working to build on the ‘total capacity’ of less advantaged communities in America and Sierra Leone through education, health & medicine, technology, relief/humanitarian aid, and community development.
To achieve our goal of “helping to build a platform that will enable the disadvantaged to enter and compete”, we have partnered with businesses, other non-profit organizations, schools, and individuals who give without prejudice to politics, religion, tribal/ethnic origin, handicap, gender or race. With these partners and friends, we have managed to raise over 6.5 million dollars in goods, services, and funding to help carry out our work. And with the aid of tens of volunteers for the numerous book drives, clothing drives, fundraisers, and community outreach campaigns, we have successful organized, coordinated, shipped, cleared, and delivered 11 containers to developing communities in Sierra Leone! Here’s a summary of our collective output:

35,000+ text, exercise, and notebooks
30 computers to schools and Non-Governmental Organizations
One X-Ray machine
800+ boxes of relief items to amputee and refugee camps, villages
Tuition assistance to keep 4 students in school for another year
Whether you gave an in-kind donation or money for a project, volunteered, provided logistical support for the movement of a container, sponsored a shipment, attended a fundraiser, gave referrals, or prayed for the success of a program, we are grateful and want to ask that you continue to help us to help others!
